Environmental Responsibility

Braslumber is fully aware of the importance of its raw material in the environment. Therefore, all the pine wood used in the productive process is originated from FSC certified forest areas (Forest Stewardship Council A.C), which guarantees the certification of the chain of custody for the final products.

Furthermore, policies are adopted to preserve the environment and reduce the impacts in the nature, among them we highlight:

• Rational use of the natural resources;
• Waste management;
• Emissions control of pollutant gases

The social responsibility is one of Braslumber’s principles, so that constant training sessions for the workers take place focusing on selective collection, water treatment and waste, energy consumption, among others, which elicits the respect and care about the environment.
